!!! 2010 world tour announced

Dance-punk rockers !!! are preparing to set out on a tour spanning North America and Europe. Starting sparsely in July and August with only three dates, !!! continue on strong from September through mid-October touring all over North America. The band will finish it off from the end of October through the final days of November in numerous European venues. This is all in support of their new album Strange Weather, Isn’t It?, their first full-length album since 2007′s Myth Takes.

Eminem, Jay-Z to Play Stadiums in New York, Detroit in September

Moments ago, Jay-Z and Eminem appeared on ESPN’s Wednesday Night Baseball matcup between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park to announce a pair of stadium shows this Fall. The pair will perform in Detroit at Comerica Park on Sept. 2, and in New York at Yankee Stadium on Sept. 13. According to Jay-Z, he will headline the New York show and Eminem will headline the Detroit show. Ticket information will be announced soon.

NIN, Jane’s Addiction Commemorate Tour With New Website, Free EP


Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction have launched the official website for their upcoming co-headlining summer tour. The site features an embedded playlist featuring tracks from both headlining bands plus opening act Street Sweeper, which features Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello. The site also offers up, in typical Trent Reznor fashion, a free EP featuring unreleased tracks by all three bands, available in high-quality MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless, and higher-than-CD-quality WAV files. U2 Announce Dates for World Tour

U2 have announced European and North American dates for their 2009 world tour in support of their new album, No Line on the Horizon. The tour, entitled “U2360″ because of its innovative 360-degree setup, will kick off in Barcelona on July 30th and run through August 22nd in . Following a short break, U2 will embark on their first tour of American stadiums since 1997′s PopMart tour. The US portion of the tour will begin on September 12th at Soldier Field in Chicago and wrap up October 28th at Vancouver’s B.C. Place. Opening acts for the European shows will include Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, and Glasvegas, while warmup duties in North America will be handled by Snow Patrol and Black Eyed Peas. Tom Morello Side Project to Open NIN/Jane’s Tour


Trent Reznor revealed on his Twitter page that the opening act for this summer’s recently announced Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction tour will be Street Sweeper, a side project of Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Coup MC Boots Riley. The tour dates that have been announced thus far can be viewed after the jump.

Guns N’ Roses Planning Summer Stadium Tour

Prefix Magazine reports that Guns N’ Roses are in the final stages of planning a summer tour of American stadiums. This tour, the band’s first since 2006, will be the first in promotion of the 14-years-in-the-making Chinese Democracy, which was released last November as a Best Buy exclusive.

The band’s current lineup includes frontman Axl Rose (the only remaining member from the Guns lineup that recorded 1987′s hard-rock touchstone Appetite for Destruction), guitarists Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pittman, and drummers Brian Mantia and Frank Ferrer.
