Earlier this year, Panda Bear, band member and solo artist in his own right, collaborated with Pantha du Prince on the track “Stick to My Side” from Pantha’s highly-acclaimed album, Black Noise, which we “recommended” earlier this year. Now, you can hear the whole gang on this dreamy, Animal Collectivized version of the song, “Welt Am Draht”. There is speculation that Deakin, the “animal” that’s been missing from the collective for a while, helped contribute to the remix. Alas, it is only speculation.
Check it out at Gorilla vs. Bear, where you can choose to either stream it or download it.
One of our writers (Sam Olson) has already heard and reviewed the new Pantha du Prince album, but now, the rest of us can finally hear it, too. Black Noise is an incredible work in minimalist electronica, and the entire album has been provided for streaming in the awesomely wintry-looking widget below.
Listen closely for a cameo from Panda Bear on the track, “Stick to My Side.” Also, Tyler Pope (from !!!) is in the album somewhere.
