Yup, I went to Best Buy today and there it is. Weird.
As for the free Dr Pepper, the site is having some traffic issues, but keep checking back at the company’s website and maybe you’ll have some luck.

A couple months back, Dr. Pepper’s marketing VP Tony Jacobs said that they would provide every American with a free Dr. Pepper if Chinese Democracy actually came out in 2008. I think Jacobs, like everyone else, thought another year would pass with still no album from Axl.
Now that Chinese Democracy is officially coming out, I’m sure some of you wondered if the Dr. Pepper offer was even serious one to begin with. The answer is yes. Recently Jacobs announced that the company was thrilled the new album was finally coming out, and that they will honor their original offer. Jacobs told Billiboard: “We never thought this day would come, but now that it’s here all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”
On the November 23rd release date, everyone living in the US can go to DrPepper.com and register to receive a print out coupon for a free 20-oz. The coupon will work at any store or business that sells Dr. Pepper. However, the coupon will only be available online for 24 hours, and it expires on Feb 28th. So be sure to register on time.

Continuing a frenzied week of (for once) actual, concrete info regarding Guns N’ Roses’ ridiculously delayed Chinese Democracy, radio industry newsletter FMQB reports that the album’s title track (which has been performed live consistently since 2002 and leaked in demo form in June) will be the first single, and will hit radio airwaves tomorrow morning.
In other Chinese Democracy news of late, yesterday the web was flooded with 15-second promo clips (all of which have since been pulled from YouTube). Also, the tracklist that was posted on Best Buy’s website has been slightly altered since the original posting. You can view the updated version after the jump.

Dr. Pepper AT LAST!
So, um, guess Axl was being serious this time? Last week Billboard reported that Guns N’ Roses’ legendary, perennially delayed Chinese Democracy would be released exclusively through Best Buy on November 23. Now, Best Buy’s online store has a listing up for the album that seems to confirm the rumors, as well as revealing what could potentially be the album’s cover art.
Rolling Stone reports that the album will contain 14 tracks, including the previously leaked “Better” and “Chinese Democracy,” as well as “If the World,” which premiered this month in the film Body of Lies, and “Shackler’s Revenge,” which premiered in the video game Rock Band 2. Their report (which has since been pulled from RollingStone.com for some reason) also mentioned a previously unknown track called “Lies They Tell (Scrapped),” which was confirmed by a BMI publishing listing.
Other tracks thought to be included are the live staples “Madagascar” and “The Blues,” and several songs that have been previously leaked in demo form, including “I.R.S,” ” There Was a Time,” and “Rhiad and the Bedouins.”
