Why, it’s the new project of Kyle Wyss (aka Chromatic Flights) of Blind Man’s Colour; a collaboration with rapper Rufat.
Kyle writes:
i found a rapper from the same home town via a mutual friend. we’re called SKYWAY after a big bridge in our hometown of st petersburg florida. we’re working on an album right now where I produce music, he raps on them and then i sing hooks occasionally. he wanted to remix jimmy dove so we made this
The two have taken the BMC original “Jimmy Dove” and have truly pulled off a true ‘genre-hop’, the result is quite euphoric. If only those Florida kids would hurry up with the full album.
We’re proud to present a new release from our good friends Flora & Fauna entitled Young Rivals EP. Like all onethirtybpm Records releases, Young Rivals EP is available for free download in your format of choice. Alternatively, you can stream the EP on the release page or below.

Chromatic Flights is the solo project of Kyle Wyss of Blind Man’s Colour. Kyle formed Blind Man’s Colour during the 7th grade with Orhan Chettri (who releases his solo work under the name Lucid Bus). The duo signed to Kanine Records in 2009 and released their debut album, entitled Season Dreaming, the same year.
Kyle has been creating solo electronic moniker Chromatic Flights since 2005. His has three previous releases that are all available for free download through the net-label Monotonik.
In addition to his Chromatic Flights project, Kyle has been hard at work on a collaboration with his brother Evan Wyss, entitled Suntime. Kyle and Orhan (Blind Man’s Colour) are also working on a follow-up to Season Dreaming, which is expected out sometime next year.
We’re also pleased to announce that Matthew & the Judes’ upcoming full-length album, entitled A Happy Medium, will be released on onethirtybpm Records in the near future. Enjoy.
