New EP from Spencer Krug available via pay-your-way download

SpencerKrugsunsetrubdown

Ubiquitous Canadian Spencer Krug always seems to have something on the go with one of his associated bands or acts. Be it Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown, Frog Eyes, Fifths of Seven, or Swan Lake, he’s a busy man. Anyway, now he’s making some music on his own under a new moniker, Moonface.

Moonface’s first release on Jagjaguwar is the verbose Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums. It’s only one track long – and that track lasts twenty minutes. It’s also currently available in MP3 or FLAC format from this website. Following the lead of Radiohead and Girl Talk (and a number of others), Moonface/Krug are allowing you to pay what you want for the EP. Be altruistic or stingy; it’s your choice!

If you want the EP on vinyl, you’ll have to wait for its official release on January 26, 2010. This is its artwork:

Enjoy!
