Thom York: New Music (For a Film)

Radiohead star Thom Yorke has joined forces with Bristol graffiti artist ‘Banksy’ to create the video for his new solo effort The Hollow Earth. The track follows the release of two new Radiohead tracks, including a tribute to Britain’s last WW1 veteran Harry Patch, and is available free from the members section of Radiohead.com, along with the flip side FeelingPulledApartByHorses.

‘Banksy’ gained fame with a series a street graffiti murals adorning the buildings of London, though his identity has always remained a mystery. Directed by Raymond Harmon, the video will feature several cuts of the artists work.

The video can be watched at this link.

Yorke is also rumoured to be appearing on the soundtrack to New Moon, the latest film installment in the Twilight series.

Update: Latest reports say that the video is unofficial, so it turns out that the combination was in fact too bizarre to be true.
