Tiny Mix Tapes Release an Exlusive Darfur Compilation

Tiny Mix Tapes is my favorite webzine, and I’ll tell you right now that it’s not because I used to write for them. TMT was my favorite before I wrote for them, of course!

Ben still is a writer and in fact it’s where we met! Cute!

Tiny Mix Tapes has joined forces with eleven musicians to release one of the most eclectic and fun Darfur compilations I’ve seen and ALL of the profits from the sale of the $12 CD and the $18 vinyl (shipping included!) will go to the The International Rescue Committee “who are currently aiding Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad, southern Sudan, and the Central African Republic.”

Tiny Mix Tapes even went as far to get the compilation produced and printed by the environmentally conscious Stumptown Printers.

That’s great! Enough with that green bullshit, drop that track list!

As you wish.

01. Jim O’Rourke – “Seven Stars”
02. Balroynigress – “Dress the Ship in Black”
03. WHY? - “Eskimo Snow (sock hop version)”
04. Frog Eyes – “Bushels (acoustic version)”
05. Burning Star Core – “Incurable Beauty of the Master’s Demise”
06. Xiu Xiu – “Farther On (Traditional)”
07. Mount Eerie – “Calf In Pasture”
08. Wooden Wand – “No Stranger”
09. The Flying Luttenbachers with Henry Kaiser – “Trapped in Ice”
