Last night, at the Independent in San Francisco, Green Day took the stage for the first time in three years to rehearse new material from their upcoming album 21st Century Breakdown. The show also served as a trial run, as the band plans on playing the full album front to back for their upcoming world tour. The band played over a two hour set which consisted of numerous older songs in addition to 21st Century material. 21st Century Breakdown is out May 15th via Reprise.
